How to Prepare for Your Nail Appointment

Booked in and counting down? A little prep before your appointment makes everything run smoothly, helps your set last longer, and means we can spend our time on the fun part — your nails.

Here's my simple checklist for before you arrive.

Come with clean, product-free nails

If you're having infills or a fresh set, lovely clean nails are perfect. Try to avoid heavy hand creams or oils on the day, as gel needs a clean, dry surface to bond to properly.

Have an idea of what you'd like

A colour, a shape, a bit of inspo saved on your phone — anything helps! Don't worry if you're not sure, though. I'm always happy to talk it through and help you choose something you'll love.

Let me know about any changes

If you've had any skin reactions, new medications, or you're pregnant, just give me a heads up. It helps me look after you properly and tailor your treatment.

Arrive on time (but not too early)

Turning up a couple of minutes before your slot is perfect. It gives us a relaxed start without feeling rushed. If you're running late, a quick message is always appreciated so I can let you know how we're fixed.

Pop to the loo and grab a drink

Some treatments take a little while, and once we're going it's lovely to settle in without interruptions. Get comfy — this is your time to relax.

A little note on deposits

A small deposit secures your appointment and comes off your final bill. It just means your slot is held just for you.
